The Waste Less, Recycle More Organics Infrastructure (Large and Small) Program provides $43 million over four years to fund infrastructure and equipment to reduce food and garden organics waste going to landfill.
Stream 1: Food and Garden Organics Processing
For new and enhanced infrastructure to process food, garden or combined food and garden organics from households and/or businesses. This stream supports organisations processing organics generated by others.

For food waste avoidance, on-site processing or pre-processing of organics at large businesses, government institutions and not-for-profit organisations such as aged care facilities.

Stream 3: Food Donation
To fund infrastructure to facilitate the collection and redistribution of edible food waste from businesses to people in need.
