Rural and regional community groups have just two weeks left to apply to win a kitchen valued at $30,000 through the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) Foundation Community Kitchen Grant.
The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Foundation (RASF) is giving rural and regional NSW community organisations the chance to win a kitchen, courtesy of Masters Home Improvement.
The kitchen, which is used at the Sydney Royal Easter Show for cooking demonstrations in the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome, includes all of the cabinetry, cook tops, sink and oven. View an illustration of what the kitchen may look like here
. The RAS Foundation and Masters Home Improvement will donate this kitchen, with a retail value of $30,000, to a rural or regional NSW community organisation.
The RAS Foundation invites rural and regional community organisations to apply and tell us how their community would benefit from a new kitchen. The successful applicant needs to demonstrate how a new kitchen will benefit their local community.
Who is eligible to apply?
- Community Centres
- Welfare organisations
- Service Club e.g. CWA/Rotary
- Sporting clubs
- Show societies
There are many community buildings or community facilities in rural and regional towns that could be transformed with a new kitchen, turning them into a more useable and functional facility for the whole community to use for a range of events and activities. It’s important to both Master Home Improvement and the RAS Foundation that the kitchen will benefit many in the community.
Applications close 26 January, 2016 and the recipient will be announced in March, 2016.
