BACKGROUND

Business List was created by a WAHM and her husband who reside in Bundaberg Qld. They built the business out of sheer frustration as they were having trouble locating products and suppliers in certain areas within Australia.

They knew that there was a market demand for an online business directory that was easy to use and which functions predominently on products and services, allowing users to locate a provider of a particular product or specialty service. Business List was born.

THE COMPANY

Business List is a market leader in the online advertising industry. They are located in QLD and have been operating for quite a number of years. They take pride on their rapport building, efficient and effective service and the quality of their products and services. 

RESPONSIBILITIES/ POSITION

The position entails being on the phone from home and out on the road on occasions within your exclusive geographical territory.  You will target (cold call) and speak to small business owners, community groups and other companies in regards to advertising opportunties, benefits and services available from Business List, selling the product and closing the sale. 

You will be selling print media advertising and developing advertising ideas that help grow the businesses and encourage long-term relationships. This role allows flexibility in working hours and requires a candidate that has a proven ability to work autonomously and that is self-motivated and highly driven

 THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will be experienced at telemarketing and sales will be a natural talker and will treat the company as if it is their own. This is a commission based role with the average person taking home $100K per year. Earn as much as you want. A mature minded individual will be considered highly desirable.

It is not enough that one can go to an unlimited amount of pages and search engines to locate the exact business you need, only to be shown thousands of irrelevant web sites. You could go to the Yellow Pages online to search, but you may still be required to make many phone calls to locate the exact business or product you are looking for, as many businesses don’t always fit into the category available to them and may have to pay for additional category listings which can cost the business thousands of dollars annually.

At BusinessList.com.au, our aim is to provide you with as much information as possible. We want to be better than the YellowPages.com.au and more affordable.

For the advertising business, we want you to be able to list as many key words, products or services as you feel necessary.
