Are you the original owner of the business? Yes original owner

Why is the business being sold?  Need a change, lost my Mojo, working on new projects within the digital and social media space.

Are you looking to sell the company (stock sale) or just the assets of the business (asset sale) Assets, domain names and social media accounts, trademarks, business names etc

Have you done any Search Engine Optimisation? If so, what level of SEO effort is required for the site to maintain its current traffic levels?

No, never tried this – I am self taught in everything – I have no idea about SEO, it just works for me. As you can see though traffic has dropped considerably because I have done absolutely nothing with it.

To your knowledge, has the site ever received any search engine penalties (manual or algorithmic)? No, never

Do you use, or have you experimented with direct / display advertising? If so, explain. Tried Facebook to promote certain jobs, works well

Do you use, or have you experimented with, social media marketing Social media has been a big component of the marketing strategy for Lifestyle Careers due to the cost effective nature and also due to the immediate feedback mechanism provided by joining an online community.

Please confirm that all advertiser accounts are transferable to the new owner Yes

If your website utilies direct advertising, how are these relationships managed?  On a personal level, all of my advertisers are lovely, most have been with me long term, especially the big spenders. Advertisers are approved automatically and able to post immediately with no restrictions. Job Ads – Once account is approved, all ads are live immediately

Are the majority of your direct advertisers new or repeat sponsors? Both

Are you able to provide live revenue verification? Yes, I have provided accounting access to the Flippa Broker when we tried to sell in May via Flippa. It did not reach reserve. I have also attached info in the listing.

Can the website’s revenue be accurately tracked back to the website, i.e. do payment descriptions/details include the website’s name or reference to the website’s products? Yes

What are the main expenses of the business

  • License Fee owith JXT on contract to June 2016 and then further 2 years ongoing $550/month
  • Paypal Merchant Fees
  • SSL Certificate annual, $550, just paid, next due Feb 2017
  • Google Apps/Emails $12 pmonth

Please list all owner’s responsibilities

• Social Media Marketing
• • Preparing Invoices
• Talking to Customers
• Replying To Emails
• Trouble Shooting Problems as they occur

Does the owner of the site need any specific skill sets in order to successfully maintain and manage the site?
• Tech Savvy
• Knowledge of Social Media and Digital Marketing
• Accounting or Bookeeping Skills
• Customer Service Skills

What platform does the website use? (e.g. WordPress, OpenCart, OSCommerce, etc.)  Lifestyle Careers – Microsoft ASP.NET managed by JXT

Where is the site hosted and does this need to change after purchase?  Lifestyle Careers is with JXT – You pay for a license you cannot host – It is a license opportunity

Will you provide 1-3 months of post-sale support & training, in order to ensure that the buyer is able to fully take over the business and its operations?

  • The new buyer will have access to an Account Manager at JXT and also a Help Desk available business hours Monday to Friday, this is included with the licence fee
  • 2 day full support and training in person. Travel and accommodation costs to be reimbursed if required
  • 1 to 3 months personal support via phone and email
  • Can be available for paid consulting and social media marketing

What are the primary growth opportunities that you see for the business going forward?

  •                 Job Ads
  •                 Courses
  •                 Affiliiate Partnerships
  •                 CV and Cover Letters

Are there any geographical limitations to the potential buyer of the business (i.e. do they need to be based in a particular country, region or time zone to handle customer enquiries or to take over the financial and other accounts)?

As it is an Australian business the buyer would need an ABN so that the domain name and IP could be transferred. There can be excep[tions,-Super-funds—Charities/Applying-for-an-ABN/ABN-for-business-outside-of-Australia/ but I would suggest the buyer get proper legal advise first

Other Domain names

Attached are 39 domain names that can be included in the sale at the buyers expense at a cost of $119 each
